In its 2nd year, the Playground Pointers factual, searchable iPhone App now includes over 1,000 playgrounds, including all City of Chicago playgrounds as well as expansion to the suburbs. In partnership with Coach Kimmy Fitness and Personal Training, fitness can be for the entire family, even when visiting playgrounds. Together, Lucht and Carlson created 10 Family Exercises that kids and adults can do together while visiting a playground.
“After the winter we’ve had, we realized even parents and caregivers needed to get moving again in a fun way with their kids. Getting outdoors together for play and exercise is more important than ever!” stated Carlson. Here is an overview of those Family Exercises.
