The Tambellini 2014 SIS U.S. Higher Education Market Share, Trends and Leaders report provides a detailed, objective overview of higher education student information systems (SIS) selections made by colleges and universities in the United States. Jenzabar was the second leading SIS vendor in 2013 with 25 placements, including 12 institutions that selected the Jenzabar EX SIS and 13 Jenzabar JX SIS selections. The report included, “The 2013 data shows that larger institutions have confidence in the JX solution.”
Included in the research are SIS vendor selections by institution size and type to help higher education institutions make informed SIS selection and implementation decisions. According to the Tambellini report, institutions that select Jenzabar represent a broad range of large scale institutions that have enrollments of over 30,000 and less than 5,000 students.
Jenzabar Higher Reach is a standalone SIS software solution to support and develop continuing education, workforce development, certification, credit, international programs and all facets of new traditional learning. Although standalone SIS systems for continuing education and non-term based programs were not included in the data for this report, it was noted that Jenzabar had tremendous success with Higher Reach software with 17 new institutional selections in 2013.
