Brand Squared Licensing, the strategic licensing division at Peppercomm, an award-winning integrated communications and marketing firm, has added four new consumer clients to its roster including three from the food industry and one in children’s entertainment. They are Dippin’ Dots, Bit-O-Honey, We Are Busy Beavers and Monsieur Félix & Mr. Norton. Brand Squared Licensing offers a unique suite of services as it helps these and other brands strategically extend into new product categories.

Because of its full integration with Peppercomm’s suite of resources, Brand Squared Licensing is able to complement strategic licensing services with creative and digital services, primary and secondary research, marketing of licensed product, and proprietary program measurement techniques.

The four new client wins include:

  •     Dippin’ Dots. The frozen miniature ice cream beads that put smiles on faces across specialty shopping mall outlets, fairs and festivals, U.S. theme parks, zoos, and museums, are known as the ice cream of the future. The brand will expand beyond its unique franchise and distribution network with non-ice cream products into many new traditional retail aisles in a more comprehensive way than in the past. This effort will be done through strategic licensing, so the overall consumer marketplace may feature Dippin’ Dots branded frozen treats, toys, cereal and other categories.
  •     Bit-O-Honey. Celebrating its 90th birthday this year, Bit-O-Honey is a bite-sized honey-flavored taffy delight, long recognized as an American candy icon. Bit-O-Honey’s new owner, Pearson’s, envisions honey-infused packaged goods differentiated by the Bit-O-Honey trademark.
  •     We Are Busy Beavers. This YouTube-based animated series, developed for toddlers, combines fun and learning with a loveable character, easy-to-hum music, and simple lessons to educate children. The brand has had 500 million views on YouTube to date (100 million since the beginning of 2014) and is one of the fastest growing animated franchises on the planet. Brand Squared Licensing is representing We Are Busy Beavers both in the U.S. and internationally in merchandise, digital, content and music licensing.
  •     Monsieur Félix & Mr. Norton. A proudly Canadian brand started in 1985 and known for its delicious cookies, an oven-baked storefront experience, and loyal fan base. They are found in over 500 grocery stores in Canada and will leverage the services of Brand Squared Licensing to expand into new retail channels, restaurant experiences, new geographies and, ready to eat product categories such as ice creams, frozen desserts, and pies.
