This summer, Cynthia’s Fine Fabrics has an exciting opportunity for kids. The Kids Sewing Camp is a fun way for young kids to develop a new skill and work on creative projects. The camp runs for two weeks from June 6-20.
There will be two week-long sessions, wherein kids will learn to sew, make new friends and be creative. The first session runs June 9-13, with two class options of 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or 1:30-4 p.m. The second session features all new projects with classes at 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or 1:30-4 p.m. June 16-20.
During the sewing camp, children will learn basic sewing machine operations, sewing vocabulary, measuring and how to lay out and cut a pattern, all while making a variety of fun projects. Paid registration is due by May 31 and costs $229 per class. Those who sign up for both weeks can save $58 and only pay $399. Tuition includes all materials, fabrics, sewing notions, and a light snack, as well as use of a Pfaff or baby lock machine in class.
Sewing is an important skill to learn, and there’s no time to like the present to start. Cynthia’s Fine Fabrics’ Kids Sewing Camp is the perfect opportunity for kids to become skilled at sewing.
