New Braun Ambulance Dealer for Western Ohio, Kentucky, & Indiana Announced
Van Wert, Ohio (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 -- In early April 2014, Braun Industries was notified by Life Star Rescue that the ambulance dealership was ceasing operations. Since 1999, Life Star Rescue has been the Braun ambulance dealer for Western Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, and a valued member of the Braun dealer network. Located across the street from Braun, the two companies had developed a strong and mutually beneficial business relationship over the years. After the announcement, the two companies started working on a plan to ensure continuity of Braun products and services. In the interim, sales and service were handled direct from the Braun factory through existing Life Star Rescue sales representatives. However, on May 7, 2014, Braun Industries formally announced that Penn Care, Inc. will be the new dealer for the region.
In an effort to continue to deliver the same superior sales and service previously provided by Life Star Rescue, Penn Care, Inc. has chosen to retain all current Life Star Rescue sale representatives. Now under employment contract with Penn Care, Tony Crum, Rick Bell, and Troy Meeker will continue to serve fire and EMS organizations in Western Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Tony is the representative for Indiana, Rick is responsible for Kentucky, and Troy covers Western Ohio. Penn Care is also the Braun ambulance dealer for Western Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Penn Care, Inc. is located in Niles, Ohio. They have been selling Braun emergency vehicles since officially opening their doors in 1987. Owners Don Bloom and Shawn Bryant have been in the industry for over three decades, serving fire departments, private EMS companies, and hospital systems. More information about the dealership can be found on their website, http://www.PennCare.net.
“While we were saddened to hear about Life Star Rescue’s closing,” says Don Bloom, “we were eager to expand our territory, and pleased that Braun has given us the opportunity to do so. Bringing on Tony, Rick, and Troy means our sales team will have more experience and knowledge than ever before. It also means they can continue to serve the customers they have developed strong relationships with over the years. As part of Penn Care, they can now offer more than ambulance sales and service. Through our additional offerings in EMS Supplies, EMS Software, and Disaster Response Solutions, we are dedicated to being a one-stop-shop for everything EMS related. We are very happy to bring these guys on, and to represent the Braun brand in our expanded region.”
“We are extremely excited for the Penn Care territory expansion,” says Braun Industries President, Kim Braun. “They bring a solid infrastructure in sales management that I am confident will enhance our market penetration in those areas. For over twenty years, our organizations have grown and prospered together. They passionately believe in the value of the Braun product, specifically our unique SolidBody construction focused on occupant safety.”
Braun Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Chad Brown, is also pleased about the recent changes in representation. “Year in, and year out, Penn Care has demonstrated a high level of success and sales professionalism in their current area of responsibility. Their ownership and management bring a passion to selling and servicing the Braun product that is second to none. Over the last few decades, Braun and Penn Care have been providing our mutual customers a great product and great service. We look forward to their commitment to this new region and look forward to another great twenty years together.”
