Now at OnAllCylinders: The Latest Rutledge Wood/Summit Racing Plymouth Wagon Project Update
Tallmadge, OH (PRWEB) May 30, 2014 -- Rutledge Wood wrote this latest update on his '53 Plymouth Suburban wagon project for Summit Racing Equipment's OnAllCylinders blog. As an added bonus, Rutledge also gives his take on the first-ever Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama, held this past April at Atlanta Motors Speedway. Rutledge brought his nutso 1949 Chevy Step Van to the event, and spent time signing autographs and talking shop with his fans.
As for the Plymouth wagon, things are coming together quickly. The chassis and drivetrain have been reunited, and the body has emerged from Brian’s Paint and Body in Fayetteville, Georgia wearing a coat of Rutledge Wood Green.
There is plenty of work left to do, but enthusiasts can expect to see Rutledge and the Plymouth rolling into Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH, on June 10 as part of the Hot Rod Power Tour. Plans are to do the whole 1,500 mile route with the wagon and Rutledge's 1949 Chevy step van from zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, NC to Wisconsin Dells WI.
Enthuisasts can see the latest Plymouth wagon project update photos and video at OnAllCylinders. They can also track the project on Rutledge Wood's Twiiter page.
