SharePoint-Videos Debuts VisualSP, Enterprise Edition, an In-Context, On Demand Help System for SharePoint with Usage Analytics

SharePoint-Videos announces the immediate availability of VisualSP™, Enterprise Edition. With this product, groups of SharePoint users can implement an in-context, technical help system, complete with content accessible on demand, and also monitor system usage at the farm, web application, and even site collection levels.

VisualSP, Enterprise Edition is designed, from the ground up, to speak to the unique needs of large groups of SharePoint users.

SharePoint-Videos has added an Enterprise Edition to its suite of VisualSP™ help systems for SharePoint. This product includes all of the features of the Express version of VisualSP, together with metrics on actual usage of the VisualSP system by SharePoint users at either the farm, web application, or even site collection levels.

The usage information, which can be viewed by the day, or by the week, or even by the month, includes a set of metrics, which are each compiled from a count of clicks on the VisualSP "Help" tab on the SharePoint ribbon.

Prominent metrics include clicks by Locale (language), by Scope (SharePoint user activity), by Ribbon Item (help artifact exposed by the VisualSP system), by Content (SharePoint Pages, Documents, Libraries, Lists, etc.), and, finally, by SharePoint user. Metrics are also provided on the type of browser used to click on system artifacts, and where the clicks take place (either the ribbon, or, perhaps, a shared document library, etc).

In short, SharePoint stakeholders can use the VisualSP, Enterprise Edition Help System to put together a highly accurate view of how the system is actually used by the group for which it has been implemented.
