Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform Secures Broad Industry Support
Kirkland, Washington (PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- The Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform has launched with broad support from more than 10 software companies across the world building their industry applications on the platform today.
CEO Jon Roskill said: “I’m excited to see developers and software companies choosing to build their futures on the Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform. We’re offering a great choice to our partners to bring their new and legacy applications to the Cloud faster, cheaper, and without compromises.”
The Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform, where “x” represents any sized company, anywhere, in any industry, empowers developers and software companies to get their solutions to SaaS, fast. They can also leverage Acumatica’s pre-built ERP and CRM capabilities, while enjoying flexible deployment and tenancy options.
JAAS Systems built JAMS, its end-to-end manufacturing solution, in record time. General Manager Fred Szumlic said: “We saved $500,000 in development costs and delivered a Cloud manufacturing application in 10 months instead of three years.”
Jeff Noolas, CEO of JAMIS, provider of ERP solutions to government contractors, said: “We replatformed our legacy solution based on AS/400 COBOL in just 18 months. Any other platform would have taken us twice as long. By using Acumatica, we reduced development costs by 40 percent. In less than a year since launch, we now have 20 customers live on our JAMIS solution.”
The Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform, built on the standard Microsoft stack, is a compelling technology that simply works for today’s modern needs, partners added.
Jorge Soto, General Manager, M5 Software, said: “Acumatica is truly an object-oriented environment. Under the hood, everything is an object that has a function. In the programming world, that’s amazing. Many ERPs are not like that. We believe that this is the next great platform software. It is crazy good.”
M5 is behind the service management suite for Acumatica.
Kensium CEO Richard Grossi said: “With a large pool of skilled .NET developers, we were able to quickly ramp up on the Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform and open up a whole new revenue stream for our company by serving the rapidly growing Acumatica ecosystem and customer base.”
Serving customers was also on the mind of Bill Dean, CEO of ASI, which provides ERP solutions for non-profit organizations.
He said: “Leveraging the multi-tenant architecture of the Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform allows us to enter a new business of scale. We are now able to offer small Not-for-Profits the same robust functionality as medium or large Not-for-Profits at a price that is affordable with a path for future growth.”
These firms join leading software companies Visma and MYOB that announced partnerships with Acumatica last year. MYOB, largest accounting software company in Australia and New Zealand with more than 1.2 million customers, is building its SaaS offering on the platform. Nordic leader Visma, with over 350,000 customers, has already launched Visma.net, built on the Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform.
“Visma.net is a key milestone in Visma’s history,” the company’s CEO, Øystein Moan, said. “Our product is ready for business. More and more companies throughout our region are moving to the cloud and we want to offer our customers what they want and need. Our strong relationship with Acumatica will ensure that Visma.net customers will have access to a market leading, scalable and future-proof platform that will grow with them.”
Other Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform partnerships soon to be announced include software companies in diverse industries ranging from property management, to construction, to auto dealerships.
