The month of May has proved to be a busy one for Northeast Huston Vein Center, with a variety of changes taking place at the facility. The treatment center has also gained some valuable exposure from television and the internet.

Northeast Houston Vein Center recently gained a new medical assistant. Jessica Rojas joined the vein center this month, and her bilingual skills continue to be a strong asset to the team. Rojas received her Medical Assistant (MA) certificate and her degree in business from Robert Morris University in Chicago, IL. She had her training at Everest College, also located in Chicago.

Besides Rojas, the other new addition to Northeast Houston Vein Center is “VeinGogh.” VeinGogh is a new way to treat conditions like telangiectasia and spider veins. Office manager Shelia and nurse practitioner Marty went to West Palm Beach, FL to be trained on the new equipment. The two went to a physician’s office to train on the machine for a private training. Northeast Houston Vein Center is very excited about the new equipment and sharing their new-found knowledge of it with their patients.

Northeast Vein Center was recently interviewed to be featured on Fox News. Melissa Wilson came by the vein center earlier this month to interview Dr. Revana. The interview was about a patient who is very satisfied with her pelvic vein compression procedure. It will premiere sometime in June. Be sure to tune in.

Dr. Revana and the Northeast Houston Vein Center is also gaining exposure through veinexperts.com. Dr. Revana joined the website this month.
