Augusta, GA (PRWEB) May 31, 2014
“All I think is ‘Whatever happened to everyone?’” expressed one of the church leaders who attended a gathering of local church leaders for the REACH & ENGAGE Workshop on May 22, 2014, in the Augusta, GA area. This was in response to the question of what currently happens to the people who visit your church during regular services or church events. This leader was expressing that she has no idea what happens to them after they visit. She went on to say, “Our church has never been intentional in its outreach efforts. There currently is no consistent followup or ways to measure followup”. This is a recurring problem in many of the churches in America today.
The goal of the workshop was to help the church leaders by “Turning Groups into Teams, Intentions into Realities”. It allowed church leaders to come together to exchange ideas and seek advice on effectively connecting people in the church while also implementing outreach strategies.
CallingPost Communications, a Christian-operated company, hosted the free Reach and Engage Workshop at the Pine Hill Baptist Church in Hephzibah, GA to reveal how utilizing its Move the Mountain System will help churches better engage both its current members and those outside the church. Implementing their integrated communication solutions and outreach tools helps mobilize church bodies in order to see God’s commandment “to make disciples” fulfilled and His Kingdom advanced. The natural result is growth of the church. These tools also allow the church’s leadership team to track the progress of the outreach and follow up.
