The board certified dermatologists at Maryland Laser Skin and Vein Institute are now participants in the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) philanthropic program offering free radiation mark removal for cancer patients. Dr. Robert Weiss, Dr. Margaret Weiss, and Dr. Karen Beasley join hundreds of other board certified ASLMS members offering free radiation mark removal for cancer patients.
“We are thrilled to support the brave men and women who have beaten cancer. Through participating in this important program, we can help cancer survivors remove visual reminders of their illness and have a new beginning,” said Dr. Robert Weiss, co-director of the practice.
Participation in the program is completely free to any cancer patient with radiation tattoo marks. The program runs all year long and allows patients to be treated by the top laser experts in the country.
“We joined the Radiation Mark Removal Program to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. Those who have overcome cancer deserve to receive the best treatment available,” stated Dr. Margaret Weiss, co-director of MDLSV. “We are honored to play even a small part in helping cancer patients move forward after their devastating illness.”
