London (PRWEB UK) 2 June 2014
Rivo Software, a leading enterprise risk management software vendor and Inosat, a leading provider of GPS tracking and mobility intelligence solutions have joined forces to offer fully end-to-end safety, security & sustainability solutions to organisations with moving assets such as vehicles and plant.
Rivo and Inosat have combined their industry leading technologies to provide detailed reporting on vehicle and plant related incidents. These include breathalyser fails, fuel thefts, dangerous driving like speed excess, harsh braking, accelerations and cornering, vehicle/asset removal or deviation and inefficient routes. The intelligent in-vehicle telematics technology from Inosat collects the data around driver behaviour and usage. When an incident or infringement occurs, the data is picked up by the Rivo’s software, where it can be automatically escalated depending upon the severity of the infringement. The telematics data can also be aggregated by Rivo Safeguard over time for ongoing performance and compliance. Inosat’s customers have reported reductions of more than 50% on dangerous accidents achieved by close monitoring of driver behaviour, together with a 10% reduction in fuel consumption.
Rivo’s VP of Product Strategy James Jameson comments: “This partnership with Inosat will allow our customers to have even more effective yet simplified end to end safety security and sustainability solutions across their business and supply chains. It's. An incredibly exciting example of how the Rivo Safeguard platform extends beyond the traditional reach of software solutions for managing safety security and sustainability. With our integrated technology solutions our customers can integrate any of their moving assets and vehicles into their Rivo platform - giving control and insight from anything from breathalyser controlled vehicle starts to global real time analysis of fuel usage to instant alerts when vehicles leave perimeter zones. There’s so much value for any industry here – so at Rivo we’re really pleased to be bringing this partnership to our customer base.”
Tiago Borges, CEO of Inosat adds: “The strategic partnership with Rivo will leverage our solution to deliver a unified service that combines safety, security and sustainability. With these capabilities in the market, we’ll increase operational efficiency and reduce costs of our customers. Therefore, it is a pleasure for our company to combine Inosat Advanced Fleet Management platform with Rivo’s risk management solution to increase our value added services to our global customers.
