Safety Gas Detection is located in Leyland, Lancashire.
The Lancashire based gas alarm system company boasts many blue chip clients including: The University of Liverpool, The University of Wales Institute Cardiff, Lancaster University, University College London and Nanoco Technologies.
The co2 detection specialists also work with businesses who use large refrigerators and car park companies who need to monitor carbon monoxide levels.

"This won't be the largest project we have worked on, but it will be a really important one as it is within the nuclear industry, which is an area we haven't worked in before,” explained Mr. Holmes.

Safety Gas Detection were selected due to:
1. Being the only supplier invited who was able to collaborate with the university on a risk assessment based gas detection design for the number and location of oxygen sensors.
2. Having a proven track record of quality installation within the department (different site), especially around sensitive equipment.
3. Possessing the ability to deliver the full installation of the products within a very tight project time frame.
4. Being competitively priced.
5. Offering a comprehensive maintenance and warranty package.
The system controller installed by the oxygen depletion equipment providers was the Safe Guard Ultimate, which included a colour touch screen interface and data logging facility.
“All of our our oxygen depletion systems are made right here in the UK and are available with a comprehensive 6- year warranty package,” explained Mr. Holmes.
Tim's business also maintains, supplies and installs CO2 detection systems, carbon monoxide alarms, CO gas detection equipment and carbon dioxide sensors.
In addition the Lancashire safety gas specialists also monitor flammable, toxic and refrigeration gases.
