Richard Paul Russell Ltd have designed and manufactured bespoke data loggers since 1994 and the improvements to its SpaceLogger.S10 model were a logical step to satisfying growing customer demand.
Data is stored on a removable SD card so there is no need to have direct connection to a PC. To read the data the SD card can simply be inserted into the PC. No special software is required to view and analyse the data and all data is date and time stamped and saved in CSV format by default. Other file extensions can be specified if required.
Other features include the ability to output RS232 data as it is logged so enabling connection to a PC, display or other device if required. In addition a response to a handshake can be output and/or contents of the file saved on the SD card can be transmitted on start-up. This allows a command to be sent to a device.
“The updated SpaceLogger.S10 model offers a compact, economical and robust way to gather data in a simplistic uncomplicated manner and the low power consumption makes it the perfect choice for remote data acquisition,” says Managing Director Richard Russell.
