Sheraton Orlando North Hotel Begins Property-Wide Transformation
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) June 01, 2014 -- The Sheraton Orlando North Hotel has embarked on a multi-million dollar transformation of its 390 guestrooms and suites, Club Level Lounge, meeting spaces and grand atrium lobby as the Maitland hotel is enhanced to meet the needs of groups, individual business travelers and vacationing families.
The multi-million dollar renovation is expected to be completed by August 2014 to include the re-design of the property’s five categories of guestrooms and suites, each of which will continue to feature the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed with the addition of new furnishings in all-new re-designed rooms. Guestrooms include a sleek, oversized work desk, ergonomic desk chair, a large, flat-panel LCD television and deluxe bath amenities.
As part of its transformation, the hotel is converting its former restaurant into an inviting event and reception space in the midst of its soaring atrium lobby. Two other lobby-level meeting rooms will be added while the hotel’s existing 16 meeting and event spaces will be enhanced to create 20,000 square feet of updated space.
The transformation also will include the expansion of the hotel’s Club Level Lounge where guests enjoy complimentary breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet. Guestrooms on the hotel’s Club Level feature plush bathrobes, upgraded Shine bath amenities, complimentary bottled water and daily delivery of USA Today.
The Sheraton Orlando North Hotel also is home to An Tobar, the popular Irish pub which serves an all-new lunch and dinner menu, an impressive selection of Irish stouts, imported ales, ciders and Irish and Scotch Whiskeys. It also features a 60-foot bar constructed in Ireland and reassembled by Irish workers in Maitland with three levels of “Dublin streetscape” decor.
