Animal groups are struggling with finances and time, there is just never enough to care for the animals and get the exposure they need.

If everything goes as planned, CharityPaws will become a leader in the world of animal welfare as a premier fundraising experience for registered 501c3 animal groups. Jill Caren, an internet entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in the e-commerce industry wanted to come up with a way to combine her marketing and web skills with her passion for animals - and from that CharityPaws was born.
“Animal groups are struggling with finances and time, there is just never enough to care for the animals and get the exposure and funds they need. I did not realize just how many challenges animal groups faced until I started volunteering several years ago for a few shelters and found the obstacles to be never ending,” said Caren. “I have been contemplating for years how I can take my experience and my passion and make a career out of giving back - and so CharityPaws was formed.”
CharityPaws will market, support and fundraise for one registered 501c3 animal group each week. For that partner the designers at CharityPaws will create unique charity t shirts and for every shirt sold the charity will receive $10. Shirts for a cause that will look good and feel good - and most importantly do good for the charity.
There will also be a few select lines of artisan created products and fair trade items as well. Every item will have a set amount that will be donated back to the charity of the week for each sale that is made.
“We wanted to be as generous as possible with our partners while we still maintain enough income to cover our costs and salaries for our employees,” Caren notes. “Our goal is to give back as much as we can to those that need it the most - the animals.”
With the launch of CharityPaws, the company has partnered up with HeARTs Speak as their first partner charity. On the first day of the website being launched, $420 was raised for HeARTs Speak through the combined efforts of the charity and CharityPaws in marketing their campaign.
