4th Annual Denim & Diamonds Event Coming Soon to Benefit Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance

The 4th annual Denim & Diamonds event will be held this June in New Berlin to benefit ovarian cancer research.

A small group of women business owners in New Berlin created a unique local fundraiser to muster the power of its local businesses and residents by using trolleys in the fight against ovarian cancer. They have created a special formula to grow its impact and awareness for ovarian cancer research. The Denim and Diamonds event will be held for the fourth time on June 19th to bring community members together for a common goal – fighting ovarian cancer. By using trolleys to transport event participants from location to location, participants can catch a trolley at any of the ten participating local area businesses to experience discounts, pampering, food, beverages, prizes, entertainment and more.

There will be something for everyone at the Denim and Diamond Event on Thursday, June 19th, from 2 PM – 8 PM. Participating businesses in the New Berlin community include Arizona Spa, Armeli's Restaurant, the newly opened JLK Outlet, Prospect Hill Garden Center, Linda’s Hallmark, Pure Family Chiropractic, Shady Acres Nursery, Shop to Carrie On, Tobin Jewelers, and Twins Flowers.

The Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance located in New Berlin benefits through a portion of the proceeds of the annual Denim and Diamonds event. Since 2000, this non-profit group has been on a fast track to provide education, advocacy, and helps generate support to local patients and their families. Theresa Frinzi from one of the participating businesses, Twins Flowers, celebrates her eighth year of winning the fight against ovarian cancer.

The participating businesses in the New Berlin community hope to see many people present at their 4th annual Denim and Diamonds event! This local fundraiser will be one to mark on the calendar. Bring your friends and family along to enjoy the community and summer weather while benefiting an important cause.
