IBTS Local Government Solutions Manager, Greg Blount, Participated in ICMA Webinar Focused on Regional Service Delivery for Small Communities

On April 30, 2014 Mr. Blount teamed with representatives from MARC and Edwardsville, KS to discuss the regional approach.

The International City/County Management Association (ICMA) hosted a webinar focused on regional service delivery. Greg Blount, Local Government Solutions Manager at Institute for Building Technology and Safety (IBTS), an ICMA Strategic Partner, joined Georgia Nesselrode, Local Government Services Director at the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) and Michael Webb, City Manager of Edwardsville, Kansas for the discussion.

The webinar focused on benefits and challenges as well as the implementation and management of a regional service delivery model. In addition, the speakers discussed real-life examples to highlight actual benefits and lessons learned.

“I was pleased to have the opportunity to partner with ICMA, MARC, and the City of Edwardsville to present this information to interested communities,” said Greg Blount, Local Government Solutions Manager at IBTS. “The regional approach to service delivery opens doors for small communities and allows them to better serve their citizens while saving money.”
