Christians for Biblical Equality welcomes four new summer interns.

Christians for Biblical Equality (CBE) will host four summer interns after receiving an unprecedented number of internship applications.

CBE’s summer interns will be working on a variety of projects, from helping with CBE’s finances to writing curriculum. Accounting, writing, and editing are just a few of the tasks that CBE’s summer interns will be doing.

“I am proud to announce our 2014 summer intern team,” stated Mimi Haddad, CBE’s president. “CBE works hard to provide a unique internship experience that nourishes the skills of each intern as well as their understanding of their own abilities and career goals. This year we received so many internship applications from a broad range of disciplines that we have reached our capacity in using all of our available workspace. We are excited to watch the talents and enterprises of these interns grow.”

“This year we have a very talented group of interns,” noted Hilary Richie, coordinator of CBE’s interns. "Interns bring a unique kind of energy and passion to CBE. We benefit as much from their hard work and presence in our office, as they do from the hands-on experiences they gain. To have a group of such high caliber interns working with us this summer is a tremendous privilege."

CBE has a longstanding internship program, and regularly hosts between six and ten interns each year. One key feature of CBE’s internship program is a focus on more advanced projects rather than simple administrative tasks. CBE also matches interns with projects and departments that relate to the interests of each intern and encourages each intern to engage as a member of the project team.

In its effort to advance a biblical foundation for gift-based rather than gender-based service, CBE sponsors annual conferences, provides internships, facilitates local chapters, hosts an online book service, and publishes two award-winning journals. For more information, visit
