Are Herpes Viruses Becoming Resistant to Standard Antiviral Treatments? polyDNA Answers Survey Question and Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin against the Latent HSV
Rochester, NY (PRWEB) June 07, 2014 -- polyDNA’s latest May 2014 survey found that 44% of participants had read that the herpes virus is becoming resistant to acyclovir (ACV). What is drug resistance? According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), “Antimicrobial resistance is the ability of microbes, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, or fungi, to grow in the presence of a chemical (drug) that would normally kill it or limit its growth.” (See The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, last updated February 18, 2009) (1). Recent studies show that “HSV drug-resistance should be taken into account not only in immunocompromised individuals but also in immunocompetent persons.” (See Current Opinion in Infectious Diseases, from December 26, 2013) (2). In other words, doctors see herpes viruses, which are resistant to standard drugs in individuals who have a weak or healthy immune system.
polyDNA recommends that infected individuals concerned about a drug resistant herpes (HSV) infection take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin. The formula of these natural antiviral products was shown to reduce HSV-2 symptoms in two post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are natural antiviral dietary supplements. The formula of each contains 5 natural ingredients. These are selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. That's 4 plant extracts and 1 trace element. Each ingredient of Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the world to identify the highest quality, safest, most effective natural ingredients that target the latent herpes virus. Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are the only natural antiviral products that were tested in clinical studies. These studies showed that the formula reduced herpes symptoms.

Scientists used to think that an infection with a drug resistant strain is relatively rare in those with a healthy immune system. However, recent research showed that HSV drug resistant strains are becoming more common in otherwise healthy people, especially when the virus infects “immune privileged” sites. These are locations in the body that are able to tolerate the introduction of antigens without eliciting an inflammatory immune response. For example, scientists wrote in a recent study that, drug resistant strains of herpes should be suspected in “cases of ACV unresponsive herpetic keratitis (a viral infection of the eye caused by the herpes simplex virus) and herpes simplex encephalitis (an infection of the brain with HSV) (2).” Specifically, the study authors wrote that “Surveillance of HSV drug-resistance is highly recommended in immunocompromised patients and in immunocompetent individuals with infections implicating 'immune-privileged sites' to rationally adapt antiviral treatment (2).”
If acyclovir, the standard treatment against HSV, proves ineffective, doctors may prescribe foscarnet, vidarabine, and cidofovir. However, these drugs showed only limited efficacy (3).
Under normal circumstances, and when fighting a non-drug resistant strain, “two types of antiviral treatments against HSV are available: topical and oral. The treatments include penciclovir, acyclovir, famciclovir, and valaciclovir. How- ever, their effectiveness is limited. For instance, a meta- analysis of five placebo-controlled and two dosecom- parison studies evaluated the effect of aciclovir, famciclovir or valaciclovir on symptoms. The meta-analysis showed that oral antiviral therapy decreases the duration and the associated pain of an outbreak by merely one day.” (See Pharmacology & Pharmacy, from September 2013) (4). There are also natural antiviral products that studies show to be safe and effective in reducing herpes symptoms. Two of these products are Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin.
“We recommend that individuals infected with HSV take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin. The formula of these natural products was designed to help the immune system target the latent HSV, and was shown to effectively reduce herpes symptoms in two separate post-marketing studies that followed FDA guidelines.” – Mike Evans, polyDNA
Novirin shares the same formula as Gene-Eden-VIR. The difference between the two is that Novirin has higher quality, more expensive ingredients. The Novirin/Gene-Eden-VIR formula was tested in two post-marketing clinical studies published in September 2013 and March 2014, respectively, in the peer reviewed medical journal Pharmacy & Pharmacology.
Interested individuals can view the two published studies here, http://cbcd.net/Gene-Eden-VIR-Clinical-Study.php and http://cbcd.net/Gene-Eden-VIR-Decreases-Fatigue-Clinical-Study.php.
Up to 70% of those studied reported a decrease in symptoms associated with a latent viral infection, and users of the Novirin/Gene-Eden-VIR formula experienced an increase in overall health (4).

A second clinical study showed that the Novirin/Gene-Eden-VIR formula decreased physical and mental fatigue. (See Pharmacology & Pharmacy, from March, 2014) (5).

polyDNA is a biotechnology company that develops dietary supplements using the unique scientific method developed by Dr. Hanan Polansky, which is based on Computer Intuition.
In addition to his unique scientific method, Dr. Polansky published the highly acclaimed scientific discovery, called Microcompetition with Foreign DNA. The discovery explains how foreign DNA fragments, and specifically, DNA of latent viruses, cause most major diseases.
polyDNA developed Novirin, an antiviral natural remedy that helps the immune system kill latent viruses.
