Inventor Tony Buzan announces new 'How to Mind Map' course to celebrate 40 years of Mind Mapping
Cardiff, UK (PRWEB UK) 3 June 2014 -- To celebrate the 40th anniversary of visual thinking technique, Mind Mapping, Tony Buzan has released an interactive online course, How to Mind Map.
The Mind Mapping technique was propelled into the spotlight back in the 1974 BBC television series, Use Your Head, with Tony Buzan. It offered a visual way to capture information that replicated the brain's natural thought processes and promised benefits for memory, creativity and comprehension.
Since then Tony Buzan has authored over 100 books on the brain and lectured on Mind Mapping in over 60 countries; working with schools, universities, multinational corporations, Olympic athletes and governments ministries.
In more recent years, the development of Mind Mapping software has facilitated its widespread adoption as a business tool, within global organisations such as Disney, Microsoft, NASA and the United Nations. What began as a study technique has developed into a versatile thinking tool with applications ranging from business analysis and project planning to delivering presentations.
Tony says:
“Millions of people have already recognised the power of visualising information with techniques such as Mind Mapping. However, many more remain stuck in old fashioned, linear methods that hinder the generation of ideas and restrict their thinking. We have a long way to go to get people using their brain to its full potential."
To help more to explore the benefits of visual thinking, Tony Buzan's new online e-learning course, How to Mind Map, is now available for free.
The How to Mind Map online course teaches the basic principles of Mind Mapping and how to start applying it to every day tasks. To access this free course, go to http://www.thinkbuzan.com/how-to-mind-map.
