The WSTA (http://www.wsta.org) will host a roundtable on “How Do You Foster and Drive Innovation Within Your Firm” on June 23, 2014 in Boston for Financial IT and Business professionals. Alok Kapoor, Executive Vice President, Enterprise Infrastructure, Fidelity Investments and a WSTA Director will kick-off the session, followed by an overview given by event sponsor James Gardner, Senior Vice President, Products, Mindjet which will serve as a precursor to the open discussion.

This WSTA members-only roundtable is intended to be an open discussion around best practices in creating a culture of and driving innovation within financial firms. Hear from industry leaders that focus on areas such as social innovation and harnessing employee creativity. Engage in a discussion with industry peers on how they are leveraging this creativity to drive growth, cost efficiencies, engagement, and other forms of ROI. Case studies/success stories will also be part of the discussion.

Financial Firm Members
WSTA financial firm members are employed at banks, brokerages, hedge funds, insurance companies and other financial firms. The WSTA currently has about 2,300 members from over 50 different firms; 81% of the members hold senior titles such as CIOs, CTOs, Vice President, Director and Manager. The remaining 19% hold other titles such as analysts, engineers, architects, etc. The WSTA also reaches over 3,200 prospective financial firm technology professionals with information about educational and networking opportunities.

Affiliates and sponsors are an integral component of the WSTA. As a not-for-profit organization, they contribute significantly by providing the resources needed to run the educational and networking programs for WSTA financial firm members. These programs strengthen the bond between members and companies that serve the technology needs of the financial community.

The WSTA currently has over 200 technology firms that participate in the WSTA as an affiliate or sponsor.
