CradlePoint Introduces First Dual Modem 4G LTE Advanced Edge Routing Solution for Distributed Enterprises
Boise, Idaho (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 -- CradlePoint, the global leader in 4G LTE wireless networking solutions for distributed enterprises, today announced the industry’s first dual-integrated 4G LTE modem available for all major North American carriers. The CradlePoint MC400 will integrate directly into the CradlePoint AER 2100 Advanced Edge Router.
The MC400 allows two enterprise grade modems to be embedded within the CradlePoint AER 2100 cloud-managed solution. This tight integration of dual modems provides enterprises greater bandwidth for additional users and today’s demanding applications. In addition, more and more enterprises are demanding the ability to support diverse LTE carriers within a single router for high availability requirements. With WAN Diversity™ and its advanced feature set, the AER 2100 helps manage costs and supports the evolving demands placed upon distributed enterprises.
“4G LTE is having a dramatic effect on how enterprises deploy, support and manage secure wireless networks within the distributed enterprise,” said Ryan Adamson, COO at CradlePoint. “CradlePoint continues to push the innovation envelope to ensure that our customer’s networks are secure, agile and cost effective. The introduction of the MC400 strengthens our position in the market and gives our customers a unique advantage in deploying a high availability, cloud-managed, 'cut-the-wire' networking solution.”
With dual modem support in the AER 2100, customers have the capability to support up to four SIM cards within a single router to ensure flexibility and stronger management of data usage.
Compared to consumer grade USB modems, the MC400 is enterprise tested for 24x7 use, includes high-gain external antennas and comes with world-class support. With CradlePoint Enterprise Cloud Manager, network administrators are afforded greater analytics and overall management functionality to easily configure, deploy, manage, and monitor on-premise network equipment in real-time from a central location.
CradlePoint will bundle the MC400 with AER 2100 shipments. The CradlePoint AER 2100 series and other solutions are available immediately from authorized CradlePoint distributors and partners.
