Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) June 03, 2014

In the last year, The Growth Coach has experienced 800 percent in growth – and many of those new owners have been women.

The Growth Coach, the #1 business and sales coaching franchise in the country for 2013 according to Entrepreneur Magazine, is dedicated to helping business leaders, small business owners, sales people, self-employed professionals and others find success at work and balance in life through the Strategic Mindset Process and the company’s suite of tools.

The international franchise is looking to bring more women owners on board as the company continues to grow. For long-time owners Sue Reardon and Judy Sylvia – who both started as Growth Coaches in 2007 – The Growth Coach has been a great fit.

Reardon, who operates her business in Chicago, spent 20 years in corporate America before opening her own business franchise with The Growth Coach. Her last role was with a technological services company where she was tasked with creating an environment that attracted top talent.

“We grew that company from being a handful of people to global multimillion dollar business, but when I started looking for that next step, I wanted to do something else. At that time, Main Street America was just starting to become vibrant again and I saw an opportunity,” Reardon explained.

So, with the help of her chef brother and her artist husband, she opened a mid-day café and art gallery that eventually evolved into a wholesale gourmet cooking company. In 2007, the look for something else began again.

“I saw the challenges my fellow business owners had with trying to run the day-to-day operations of the business while creating a strategy for long-term growth and sustainability without a support system. Coaching wasn’t something I saw at the small business level at that time and I was always the person people came to bounce ideas around with, so coaching just seemed to make sense. That’s when I happened to find The Growth Coach online. I made that first call and the next thing I knew, I was a Growth Coach,” Reardon said.

The Growth Coach was founded in 2003, but the company’s leaders have a 20 year track record of successful business coaching. Recently, the franchise was included in the Bond’s Top 100 Franchises and has been recognized in Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Franchise 500,” “Best of the Best” and “Top Home-Based Business” listings. While most of the coaching is delivered through affordable group workshops, owners also provide one-to-one coaching, remote coaching delivered via phone and web, and special projects.

“The Growth Coach is a great fit for anyone with the passion for helping business owners and leaders be successful. It’s about serving clients in the best way possible. We do have the fundamental tools of the franchise, but you work with those in a way that best suits each individual client,” Reardon said.

Unlike Reardon, who spent the opening of her career in corporate, Sylvia has always been in the small business world. Before opening The Growth Coach of Fort Myers in 2007, Sylvia worked in real estate and owned her own business.

“I floundered my first year, but then I spent years working with a coach and things really turned around. Everything was great, but honestly, I got bored. I always found myself sharing what I had learned with my business coach and that was when I came across The Growth Coach. The mission and franchise tools all just resonated with me,” she said.

Sylvia said the passion she has for coaching stems from her desire to help people – something she hopes others can embrace as they consider opening their own Growth Coaches around the world.

“There’s absolutely nothing like helping someone grow and overcome obstacles. Coaching is something you’re called to and, if you answer the call, you can change lives,” she said.

In addition to the proven services The Growth Coach currently offers, the company also is in the process of rolling out online coaching, alternative financing for businesses, business valuation software and services, an updated brand image and logo and more. The Growth Coach also has invested significant effort into international expansion and is already working with Master Franchise owners in Ecuador, Mexico, Canada, Australia, India and more. The corporate team is working to build relationships in Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Turkey, Cypress, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Spain, Germany and South Africa.
