Watertrain to launch Level 4 Diploma at Institute of Water Conference
Warrington, Cheshire (PRWEB UK) 5 June 2014 -- Watertrain Limited will officially launch its new Level 4 Diploma in Water Operations and Management at the Institute of Water National Conference (IOW) on 5th-6th June 2014.
The Level 4 Diploma is accredited by OFQUAL and the CABWI Awarding Body. It is recognised as a national qualification on the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF).
The qualification, which is available throughout the UK, is the first of its kind and has been designed to fill a gap in the high-level Water Industry qualification structure.
It has been developed following consultation with the Water Industry, after it was recognised that there were roles that did not have the benefit of a Level 4 qualification to underpin and assist in the development of individuals in, or aspiring to, those positions.
Experts on hand at IOW Conference
Our qualification experts will be at the IOW National Conference to offer information on the new Diploma, as well as taking bookings for individuals wishing to enrol on the programme. Please visit us at stand 13.
Glenn Jackson, Watertrain’s Director of Learning and Development, will be at the event to meet with delegates. He said: “The new Level 4 Diploma will provide a credible and comprehensive high-level technical framework suitable for the industry’s current and future needs, creating a multi-pathway qualification with a common core to better fulfil business needs.
“The qualification will allow natural progression for the industry’s employees from the existing pathways at Levels 2 and 3. It also creates an appropriate high-level qualification in supplementary and specialist roles, including an overarching route for new entrants to the industry, including graduates."
“With the option of including accreditation for individual modules and conversion to an HND, this new structure provides an appropriate level of flexibility, which for the first time at Level 4 aligns both business requirements and individual roles.”
Watertrain Limited will exhibit at the IOW National Conference on stand 13 on 5th-6th June 2014. The event is being held at the Bristol Science Centre, Anchor Road, Bristol, BS1 5DB.
