HMHP Ostomy Meeting to Feature ‘Casual Conversation With Pharmacist’
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 -- The June meeting of the Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group will feature casual conversation with a pharmacist.
Raymond R. Carlson, a pharmacist and owner of RC Compounding Services, will answer questions and lead a discussion about how ostomies may affect the absorption of prescription medications.
The meeting will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 10 in the Maple Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, 8401 Market St., Boardman.
The Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group, sponsored by Humility of Mary Health Partners, provides ostomy patients and their families and friends the opportunity to share experiences while receiving ongoing education and information.
Meetings of the Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group are open to the public, refreshments are provided and parking is free.
