The Braintrust Consulting Group will offer a Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)-Track Two training class in Tampa, Florida the week of July 14-18, 2014. A Certified Scrum Developer is someone who has demonstrated through a combination of formal training and a technical skills assessment that he or she has a working understanding of Scrum principles and has learned specialized Agile engineering skills.

The Braintrust Consulting Group has bundled a series of classes into a complete track to earn Scrum Developer certification, as outlined by The Scrum Alliance. The Certified Scrum Developer Track Two class combines our Scrum Essentials class Agile Engineering Practices class and Test Driven Development class into an in-depth five-day training.

The CSD Track Two is intended for professional software developers who are on a Scrum team and want to understand how Scrum and Agile engineering practices are applied and how they affect their role in the team. It’s also ideal for candidates who already have their Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification or developers who are interested in move advanced Test Driven Development (TDD) techniques.

At the conclusion of the five days, participants will have a thorough understanding of Scrum Development and meet all requirements to earn Scrum Developer (CSD) certification. Members of the Project Management Institute will earn 35 Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward maintaining their existing credentials by attending this class. As an alternative, attendees have the option to participate in the Scrum Essentials ( or Agile Engineering classes ( individually. Scrum Essentials is ideal for software architects, software developers, software development managers, and systems analysts as an entry-level introduction to Scrum that requires no prerequisites. Agile Engineering is an ideal class for those who have an understanding of Scrum principles and have previously learned specialized Agile engineering skills.

He has spent most of his career training and consulting with organizations on technologies ranging from .NET and Java to Linux and other open source tools, and specializes in cloud-based web solutions.
