According to data* from a recent survey conducted on behalf of HomeAdvisor, 33 percent of fathers would gladly trade a new tie for a completed home improvement project. The survey data also reveals most fathers (85%) have a home improvement to-do list and more than half of fathers (56%) say their children don’t help them complete the list. This Father’s Day, families can forgo the traditional gifts and help Dad by hiring a professional to complete his home improvement to-do list.

The top three tasks fathers would love to see completed as a Father’s Day gift are painting the interior rooms, washing the windows, and pressure washing the home’s siding, driveway and patio.
