Alison Lundberg Named American Homeowner Preservation’s Employee Of The Month
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 -- American Homeowner Preservation (“AHP”) is announced today that its employee of the month for May 2014 is Business Development Director Alison Lundberg. Lundberg, who has been a member of AHP since February 2013, was voted by her colleagues for this award in consideration of her exemplary individual achievement, positive attitude toward work responsibilities and her commitment to quality performance.
Lundberg’s role with AHP fulfills a vital component of the company’s business model as she establishes relationships with banks and other lenders in order to negotiate the purchase of mortgage loan pools. “I’m mostly in charge of purchasing new assets, usually in pools, so I do a lot of due diligence,” said Lundberg, who double majored in Urban Ministries and Biblical Studies at The Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. “I’ll place an initial bid on an individual asset or a pool and then, if that bid is accepted, I’ll order a BPO, find out the actual evaluation of the house, do research to find out delinquent taxes and send back the finalized price on that.”
Lundberg has an uplifting spirit that can be felt throughout the office as well. She is always willing to help co-workers with any issues they may have, even if it is outside of her department. “Alison gets work done with a great attitude, making the office a fun place to be,” one colleague noted. Lundberg also possesses the work ethic to match her tremendous attitude, as another colleague observed, “It is clear how hard Alison is working day in and day out to get pools ready. She is very knowledgeable over the phone and knows how to represent AHP in a very professional manner.”
Outside of AHP, Lundberg enjoys biking, watching movies, jogging and going to the beach. As the employee of the month, Lundberg will have the privilege of choosing the office snacks for the month, as well as the dining destination for the company’s monthly luncheon. True to her form, Lundberg has sought out input from her coworkers on what snacks they would like and is considering a restaurant everyone can enjoy.
American Homeowner Preservation was established in 2008 as a nonprofit organization before transitioning to for profit. Today, AHP purchases pools of distressed mortgages from banks at big discounts, and then offers sustainable solutions to families to avoid foreclosure and stay in their homes, while concurrently generating attractive financial returns for both the homeowners and investors.
