David’s insights into how technology is changing our entire approach to learning will be inspiring and transformational for our audience.
Oceanside, CA (PRWEB) June 03, 2014
The Enterprise Learning! Conference (ELC) announced today that the opening day keynote speaker for the 2014 celebration of excellence will be internationally acclaimed learning thought leader, speaker and author, David Price. David’s new book has been heralded as a revelation that will continue to change how we’ll work, live and learn in the future.
According to Sir Ken Robinson, world-leading expert on education and creativity, “Open is a revelation. Dave Price casts a penetrating light on how the new dynamics of digital culture are transforming not only how we work and play, but how we think, feel and learn.” Sir Ken Robinson went on to point out that David’s new book will open everyone’s mind on the real implications of digital technologies in the world of learning.
“We are honored that David will be joining us at the ELC celebration where we will be honoring both practitioner and vendor award winners,” said Joe DiDonato, Enterprise Learning! Conference program chair for the 2014 event. “David’s insights into how technology is changing our entire approach to learning will be inspiring and transformational for our audience. David will challenge our thinking on a wide range of topics such as how we collaborate at work, as well as even our views on the importance of memorization and exams in this world of powerful search engines.”
The Learning! 100 Award Dinner is scheduled for Monday evening, the evening before David’s talk and discussion panel. The discussion panel will have several companies that David has mentioned in his book, and the discussion about how they are changing their approach to learning and corporate culture will be illuminating for the attendees.
David Price is a writer, consultant, speaker and a life-long teacher. He is a Senior Associate at the Innovation Unit in England, and Director of Educational Arts. David works with organizations and schools, and has led a range of ground-breaking, innovative, educational programs, and has successfully re-engaged learners in thousands of schools in several countries.
“Mr. Price will delight attendees during this celebration of excellence by challenging them to join with him as he discusses why a global corporation would give away its prized intellectual property; why Ivy League universities would allow any individual to take their courses for free; and even why a farmer in rural Africa would share his secrets with his competitors,” according to Catherine Upton, CEO of B2B Media Company, and one of the hosts of the Enterprise Learning! Conference and award ceremonies.
ELC registration opens May 8th with Super Early Bird rates saving attendees up to $400. Workshop passes are also available beginning at $295. Government employees also receive a 30% discount on all conference rates. To learn more about attending ELCE, visit at http://www.elceshow.com.
