FruitFlowers® Selects First Site in DC Metro Area
Herndon, VA (PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- FruitFlowers® has secured commercial property in Herndon, VA to house a retail store/fulfillment center and customer service call center as FruitFlowers begins expansion into the greater Washington D.C market area.
With a goal of opening up to five new stores within the Greater Washington, D.C. market during the next year, Herndon is intended to be the first store to open. With occupancy slated for the end of this month, the FruitFlowers team is taking immediate action to ensure the site is ready for a projected opening date of August 15.
“Opening in the off-season,” explains Client Relations Manager Meena Sareen, “gives us sufficient time to hire and train new employees and insure they are ready to deliver the first class service experience and fresh fruit products customers in our other operating markets know us by.”
With future locations to include Manassas, VA, Arlington, VA, Downtown D.C., while also scouting out additional locations within the market area, FruitFlowers foresees serving customers in Fairfax, Louden, Prince William and Arlington Counties as well as those in Washington DC and Montgomery County, MD. The company intends to expand northward from the DC Metro area towards their existing stores in the Mid-Atlantic region over the next few years in order to gradually increase their service areas into the Northeast while expanding the Mid-Atlantic region.
