DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co. is feeling generous. The luxury bike tour company has released a philanthropic promotion that promises to donate $150 for each person who reserves one of their classic, 6-day bike tours departing in August 2014. Once reserved, travelers are able to choose which participating charity will receive DuVine’s contribution on their behalf. DuVine has named the promotion “Travel for Change” as it offers travelers the opportunity to give back to others while also doing something for themselves.

Four charitable organizations have eagerly joined DuVine’s “Travel for Change” initiative as a means to boost awareness of their cause and to generate donations

  • Pan-Mass Challenge – The Pan-Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The organization donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to the Jimmy Fund and is the most successful fundraising event for charity in the nation.
  • Autism Speaks – Autism Speaks is the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
  • National Multiple Sclerosis Society – The National Multiple Sclerosis Society aims to help people affected by MS by funding research, driving change through advocacy, providing professional education and offers programs and services that help those with MS and their families. For more information,
  • Travis Manion Foundation – The Travis Manion Foundation was created to assist our nation’s veterans and the families of Fallen Heroes. In the spirit of the Fallen, the Foundation will foster strength of mind and body to create a generation of future leaders.

“Travel for Change” is DuVine’s latest philanthropic initiative. The boutique bike tour operator regularly contributes to fundraising events across the country and is also the “Official Bike Tour Sponsor of the Pan-Mass Challenge.” Such a commitment to giving back comes directly from President + Founder, Andy Levine, who has said, “Travel at its best connects people. For 18 years I’ve been in the business of travel, which has made philanthropy part of my nature.”

From the rolling hills of Tuscany and storied medieval villages of Provence, to the breathtaking coastline of Spain’s Costa Brava and the lush vineyards of Bordeaux, people looking to “Travel for Change” can choose from an incredible selection of DuVine’s bike tours. Reservations must be made by June 30, 2014 to take advantage of the philanthropic promotion so it is important that travelers contact DuVine as soon as possible to start planning their trip.
