C2 Collaborative Inc.’s mission began in 1999 when the company was originally founded as Collaborative Learning, Inc. with its flagship product, Curriculum Mapper. Since that time, the company has helped thousands of educators across the country integrate the standards with additional software solutions, as well as through its partnerships with The Common Core Institute™, author of the Black Belt Certification Program, and the non-profit organization the Center for College and Career Readiness™, host of several national conferences for K-12 educators.
The rebranding to C2 Collaborative, Inc. brings together several projects and intellectual capital to reflect the company’s commitment to provide high quality tools, professional learning opportunities, and technology to the educational landscape, which supports standards-based curriculum and instruction for college and career readiness in the 21st century.
Incorporating the two C’s in “college and career readiness,” both the new company name (C2 Collaborative, Inc.) and the new web address (http://www.C2Ready.org) emphasize the company’s goal to connect educators to the 21st century strategies and tools necessary to impact learning for all students. Through this collaboration, C2 Collaborative, Inc. is supplementing the work of schools and districts around the world to help in the development of the leaders of tomorrow.
“Educators and students have been at the heart of our company from the very beginning,” says co-founder Richard Westrick. “‘Supporting Today’s Educators, Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders,’ captures the essence of this ongoing commitment and passion.”
Through a suite of software, products, and professional learning options, the experts at C2 Collaborative, Inc. apply their knowledge of both the theory and practice of sustainable change to engage educators in the evolution of school improvement using standards-based learning, collaboration, technology, professional learning, and leadership.
K-12 districts and schools seeking support with standards-based instruction and curriculum are encouraged to explore C2 Collaborative, Inc.’s new website, http://www.C2Ready.org, and to contact a representative for more information.
