Following the release of the Corecon Mobile app for Android which was announced in February 2014, the new app was developed for use with Corecon V7, an online estimating, project management and job cost suite of construction software.

Serving as the next generation of Corecon’s mobile solution, the Corecon Mobile app not only includes all of the tools available in the current version, which is browser based, but now has greater functionality and an improved user interface that takes full advantage of Apple’s iPhone or iPad capabilities.

This new version was completely rebuilt on the iOS platform and tailored for jobsite functions. For example, field staff can take progress photos, update checklist or punchlist items or import contacts directly from their mobile device. Apple’s speech-to-text can also be used with the new app to transcribe voice dictation into text whenever it may be inconvenient to text.

Since all of Corecon’s products connect to a common platform, no synchronization is required. Thus, Daily Logs or Timecards entered directly in the iPhone/iPad app will immediately appear in Corecon V7, Corecon’s flagship web-based solution for estimating, project management and job cost control.
