Regional Fairs are Featured in New "Leading Edge" Episode, Hosted by Jimmy Johnson
(PRWEB) June 05, 2014 -- Regional fairs are held around the country. Some of these focus on a region of a particular state while others focus on a region of the United States, such as New England or the Pacific Midwest.
Jimmy Johnson, former NFL coach and current host of Leading Edge, introduces a segment that speaks about many of the fairs that are held throughout the country. This includes talking about the inspiration behind the various festivals, as well as some of the key events. Depending on locale, the fairs can include everything from food eating contests to farmers markets to rides.
An in-depth glimpse into the regional fairs demonstrates what goes on over the course of the year. This allows people to attend the fairs as a family for bonding and learning more about the community and sometimes the agriculture of the region. There is fun for all ages and many of the entrance fees are lower than many imagine.
Leading Edge features a number of interesting topics. Topics in the past have included education, technology, politics and more. New features are added on an ongoing basis.
The Leading Edge Series is distributed around the US to Public TV stations and not through PBS. Please browse the Leading Edge site at http://www.leadingedgeseries.com or by emailing the show's producers at info(at)leadingedgeseries(dot)com for further information.
