Newry, Down (PRWEB UK) 18 June 2014 -- It's pleasing to see that growth rate in construction is now rising, after a heavy doom and gloom period, where recession hit jobs were lost. As a direct consequence the nation saw its youth shy away from construction as a career choice.
So the launch of the #Young Builder of the Year award today was a very pleasing announcement. Nick Raynsford MP, President of Youth Build UK invited entries from young builders accords the UK.
This award ceremony is designed to celebrate the achievements of young people who have successfully overcome barriers to train or gain employment in what was a struggling industry.
The finalists will be invited to the Awards Ceremony on 15th October at the House of Commons ending with a trip to the London Eye, where the winner will collect a prize fund of £7500.
MP #Nick Raynsford was quoted as saying he was “delighted to launch the #YoungBuilderoftheyear Awards, to celebrate the achievements of Young people.”
CT1, ‘The Snag List Eliminator,’ the number 1 Sealant on the market, would also like to extend their support to these young budding builders, who more than likely have already used this product in their trade to seal, mount and bond. It seems fitting that their prize will be awarded to them at the London Eye.
CT1 was the only product on the market that was able to repair the London Eye - please visit the CT1 website to view the case study. CT1 now fondly known as ‘The Snag List Eliminator,’ was the saviour in repairing this national icon. As a beacon of light, it was the only sealant capable of repairing its leaks and of protecting it against London’s notoriously damp wet winters.
Now these aspiring builders of the future will get to use CT1 in their new careers and we wish them well. Many suppliers and contractors will be supportive of this new talent, and hope they bond and seal the deal with new projects that are thankfully popping up around Britain.
But it doesn’t stop here for our young builders who will be bonding, sealing and repairing the UK soon. Other construction giants also see the need to encourage new talent into the Industry.
Thomas Vale Construction, have announced that due to expansion and growth they have launched a new programme, in which they are committed to ensuring that graduates and trainees from site management, design and quantity surveying courses are integrated into the industry.
CT1, the number 1 supplier of products for the building industry, welcomes this news also. New trades people accept nothing else now in their tool kit - they say it replaces at least 7 products, usually taken to do 1 job. With this new fresh young talent in the building industry, they will also be much more environmentally aware and CT1 is the only sealant that is VOC free!
They are the future - we will help build the future. The following Youtube video link shows the tangibility of this future. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIh4JJl25xY
The upward struggle for those in the construction and building trade seems to be at last levelling out, and those who turned to other professions in the downturn can now return to the building trade and construction industry. They will fortunately have at their disposal the tools and construction products they love, such as the legendary CT1 - The Snag List Eliminator.
Hector Forsythe, head of Research at Oriel Securities was quoted during the week, “A lot of people have gone out of the construction sector for instance in the downturn, Some of those will be lured back in by higher salaries.”
And there you have it, not only will construction boom, and CT1 go on to help seal, mount and bond all new projects, but people in the construction industry can also expect to see an increase in salaries!
