Physicians and staff take part in challenge ride to support our troops.

On Sunday, June 8, over 30 Shady Grove Fertility physicians and staff will be riding or volunteering to support the Air Force Association Cycling Classic Challenge Ride for the second year in a row. The Shady Grove Fertility family extends beyond the office and the Challenge Ride is an excellent opportunity for physicians and staff to join the community for an afternoon of cycling benefiting a great cause.

“The 15km closed course is sure to be a tough ride every cycling enthusiast will enjoy and be challenged by, especially those trying to earn a gold medal by riding six laps in under three hours. We are grateful to Shady Grove Fertility for all the support and competitive spirit their team brings," says Rob Laybourn, creator of the Air Force Association Cycling Classic and founder of Arlington Sports, Inc.

“Participating in the Air Force Association Cycling Classic Challenge Ride is a wonderful way our practice can give back to our troops while bonding together on the course and volunteering. I am excited to be joined by my colleagues and friends for this event," says Dr. Barbara Osborn.

With offices throughout Washington, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, physicians and staff work often with military personnel.
