I am honored to be included in the CRN Women of the Channel and feel fortunate to be an executive at eFolder, a company that empowers women to lead and succeed.
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) June 05, 2014
eFolder, a leading supplier of business continuity and cloud file sync services for the IT channel, today announced that Jan Spring, vice president of channel development of eFolder, has been named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel list. The annual list highlights the accomplishment of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel industry as a whole. Spring was recognized by CRN for staffing 28 channel events with a new team, tasked by regions, of regional sales managers, account managers, and sales engineers.
Spring is responsible for developing the solution provider channel for eFolder’s award winning cloud backup, backup disaster recovery (BDR) and cloud file sync solution, Anchor. Spring was integral in helping the company reach 1,700 transacting partners in 2013; last year, Spring doubled the number of channel account managers, doubled the size of the company’s technical support staff, and introduced 30 hours of on-demand training content for partners.
Spring’s accomplishments are paired with the tremendous growth of eFolder over the past year. The company has recently surpassed 2,000 regularly transacting channel partners, and last month, announced a global OEM partnership with Acronis.
“I am honored to be included in the CRN Women of the Channel and feel fortunate to be an executive at eFolder, a company that empowers women to lead and succeed,” says Spring. “Moreover, despite being underrepresented, I hope that this recognition inspires more women to be active in this wonderful market that we call the channel.”
“These female executives have risen in the ranks of their organizations and are leaving their indelible mark on the technology channel. We celebrate their many contributions and the varied ways in which they help solution providers grow and thrive every day,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success.”
The Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN, and online at http://www.CRN.com.
