IPcelerate Announces IPsession 7.0 for SMB and Enterprise Organizations
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) June 05, 2014 -- IPcelerate, Inc., a provider of advanced unified communications software applications utilizing mobile technology, announced today the release of IPsession 7.0 for Cisco Unified Communications Manager. IPsession has been the flagship product for over 3,000 SMB and enterprise organizations, for paging, alerting, mass notification and emergency response applications. IPsession 7.0 redefines both the end user and administrative experiences with a new web interface and a host of new capabilities and bundled modules, including new dynamic paging and grouping, intelligent creation and management of groups.
Additionally, IPsession 7.0 now brings a new application client, available as a download for Windows-based desktop and laptop computers. This new client, integrated with back-end IPsession capabilities, brings full alerting and messaging capabilities – paging, dial-out, and GPS panic alerts – to the desktop for unified communications users.
“As we have in the past, we are announcing a number of new, innovative capabilities that will energize our customers who are embracing true unified communications and collaborative solutions,” said Kevin Brown, CEO of IPcelerate. “Just as importantly, however, we are bringing a new, re-vamped administrative GUI that will dramatically reduce the manual activities required to manage this wide-reaching platform.”
IPsession 7.0 is the most anticipated release from the company in the past six years, since the launch of mobile clients in 2008.
"We anticipate the dynamic paging application in IPsession 7.0 will dramatically improve the management of our day-to-day usage of broadcasting and alerting capabilities for the many campuses we serve throughout Colorado," said Keith Dahl, Director of Network Technologies for Colorado Community College System. "We are a long-time user of this software and have been waiting for this type of feature which will provide a much easier way to manage the hundreds of broadcast groups throughout our Cisco Call Manager deployment."
The host of new capabilities have been enthusiastically embraced by IPcelerate customers during early field trials. Additionally, the new dynamic nature of the configuration and usage of the solution is expected to not only save considerable time for IPcelerate users, but is also expected to open the door for customers to use more of myriad of embedded capabilities in the platform.
“IPsession 7.0 an important milestone release for our customers who have remained loyal to IPcelerate through an economic downturn and in the midst of continued competition,” said Alok Jain, CTO/COO of IPcelerate. “We are reducing the potential load on their Unified Communication Manager, giving our customers easier ways to organize their alerting and paging groups, easier ways to manage their deployments – both large and small - from more endpoints and more browsers.
IPsession is a virtualized software offering, and is available for partners to deploy in cloud configurations, if desired. For more information about IPsession 7.0, contact us at sales(at)ipcelerate(dot)com.
