LeadingAge Illinois Enters a Strategic Alliance Agreement with the Unemployment Services Trust to Help Lower the Cost of Unemployment for Aging Services Providers in IL
Santa Barbara, Calif. (PRWEB) June 11, 2014 -- LeadingAge Illinois, formerly the Life Services Network (LSN), has formally engaged in a strategic alliance agreement with the Unemployment Services Trust (UST) on behalf of its members as a new cost-saving solution. A statewide association, LeadingAge Illinois represents the leading providers of the complete continuum of services for older adults, and has chosen to partner with UST because the association “understands the importance of fiscal responsibility” and vows to offer the best of what their member organizations need to run their business day-to-day.
LeadingAge Illinois joins 10 other state-based LeadingAge associations, and the national LeadingAge association, in endorsing UST.
The partnership between LeadingAge Illinois and UST will give the association’s member organizations greater opportunities to learn about and implement HR-related best practices. For members with 10 or more employees, the partnership offers the opportunity to save money on unemployment costs by providing world-class unemployment claims administration, a live HR hotline with expert HR personnel and an exhaustive resource library, as well as cloud-based claims management.
“One of the biggest problems that nonprofits across the United States face is a lack of resources,” said Donna Groh, Executive Director of UST. “But last year UST was able to give $11,041,738 in cash back to our current participants. We’re looking forward to helping the members of LeadingAge Illinois begin putting money like that back into their organizations.”
