RPI Expands Its East Coast Facilities and Operations to Accommodate Growth in its Printed Photo Merchandise and Corporate Communications Business
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) June 05, 2014 -- RPI, a leading provider of personalized print services for business worldwide, today announced it is expanding its Atlanta-area facilities by 70 percent in order to accommodate growth in its printed photo merchandise and corporate communications business units.
The company recently broke ground on its expansion adjacent to its existing facilities in Kennesaw, GA to accommodate increased manufacturing capabilities, including state-of-the-art printing technology, new office space and increased staffing.
“It’s an exciting time at RPI,” said Rick Bellamy, CEO at RPI. “Demand for fast delivery of sophisticated and personalized print products by consumers and brand marketers is on the rise. By expanding our facilities near Atlanta, RPI will be well-positioned to respond quickly to this demand with technology-driven solutions for our customers in the United States and across the globe.”
The expansion builds on RPI’s acquisition of its Atlanta-area facility in 2013. RPI-Atlanta was founded in 1992 as DPI, a leading provider of print-on-demand solutions for corporate communications including books, direct mail, manuals, coupons, point-of-purchase materials and large-format graphics for Fortune 500 companies such as Nestle, CBRE and Johnson Controls. RPI acquired DPI to expand its breadth of services and speed global delivery of products produced there and in its facilities in Seattle and Eindhoven, NL.
RPI’s consumer business includes production and fulfillment of a vast selection of private label photo products from personalized photo books, posters, and calendars, to invitations, greeting cards and stationery as well as creative product design and software integration services. RPI’s customers and partners represent the majority of the photo merchandise industry and include some of the world’s most well-known brands.
