The multi-award winning Reading Eggs has enhanced users’ experience with their popular online reading program by making some brand new improvements to the Reading Eggs Student app for the iPad.
The changes enable access to the parent dashboard functionality via their app. This allows parents to identify which lesson their child is on, adjust the reading level and see detailed reports on their child’s reading progress.
The app now gives children access to over 1700 e-books from the Reading Eggspress Library, as well as additional features of the Reading Eggs program including Clinker Castle and Driving Tests. Clinker Castle features 20 new lessons for early readers, while the Reading Eggs Driving Tests are designed to assess children’s knowledge over three essential reading skills including sight words, phonic skills and content area words.
Reading Eggs creators have also made their online math program, Mathseeds, accessible on the app for children with active subscriptions and trials. Suitable for children aged 3 – 6 years old, Mathseeds features interactive and game based elements to teach children essential math and problem solving skills in a fun and engaging way.
The Reading Eggs Student app for the iPad unlocks a comprehensive range of features, such as the Arcade with 13 educational and fun-filled games and My House, where children can customise their own avatar and view the awards they’ve earned throughout the program.
