Digital TV Channel Integrates Brands Into Content

'There’s a seismic shift in how entertainment producers need to think through their creative strategies,' states Executive Producer Kevin L. Summerfield.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 10, 2014

After Hours HD (http://www.afterhourshd.com), a new digital broadcast channel debuting in the Fall of 2014 on Roku Tv, Opera Tv and Amazon Fire Tv, integrates brand advertising as a core component to all of the entertainment content including news segments and scripted series programming. “There’s a seismic shift in how entertainment producers need to think through their creative strategies,” states executive producer Kevin L. Summerfield who developed the After Hours HD channel. “Our goal is to work with sponsors and advertisers in a way that complements their marketing strategies that is part of the storytelling process, similar to how BMW created some very compelling segments by top A-list directors.”

The After Hours HD channel launches with programming including ‘Novel Cinema’ (http://www.novelcinema.com), a hosted series highlighting books and book trailers from every genre and subject matter, as well as, ‘Twisted Dreamscapes’, a ‘Twilight Zone’ type anthology series showcasing genre short films from around the world. The scripted series ‘Webcam Diaries’ is a provocative series following numerous characters that intersect from time-to-time via webcam chats that often unfold in edgy and sometimes unsettling ways. The primary target audience will focus on the millennials that frequent the growing convention circuits.

“With the explosive growth of comic conventions nationwide and the way the producers are strategically positioning content, it allows them to market to just about any audience base including the book publishing industry and even the apparel, merchandise and liquor brands. It’s a win-win for both audiences and the advertisers involved in sponsoring episodes,” states writer Rich Hynes, an accomplished author and screenwriter who’s working on both ‘WebCam Diaries’ and ‘Twisted Dreamscapes.’

After Hours HD will be promoted through Preview Buzz (http://www.previewbuzz.com), the mobile app and kiosk platform debuting at the Baltimore Comic Con from the 5th to the 7th of September.
