Pub 31 Now Open in Faribault and Alexander’s Supper Club to Open Later This June
Faribault, MN (PRWEB) June 06, 2014 -- The local investors in Rebound FB Faribault, LLC, are pleased to announce that Pub 31 is now open at the renovated historic building on 31 Third Street NE in Faribault, Minnesota. The building had been vacant since midyear 2010 and was previously the home of Monte’s. The event and catering business is now open and Alexander’s Supper Club (http://www.alexanderssupperclub.com) will open later this month.
Pub 31 will be open weekly, Wednesday - Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to bar close and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to bar close. The pub will feature live music every Friday and Saturday night.
“We are truly excited to be able to bring this community asset to life after investing in and developing these businesses that will employ more than 50 people,” said Brett Reese, one of the local investors in the new venture and a principal at Rebound Hospitality.
“We’ve had a lot of support and input from the community as we developed the fine dining concept for Alexander’s Supper Club and Pub 31 as new local gathering spots. Pub 31 will have a fun, neighborhood atmosphere but with more of the upscale amenities than the typical bar/restaurant. Alexander’s Supper Club will offer a fine dining experience that aims to be the highlight of your day,” explains Reese.
At Pub 31: 20 Tap Beers and a “Killer Sub”
Mike Parry, general manager of both restaurants, said that Pub 31 will offer 20 tap beers, including Fat Tire, Third Street Spotlight, Grain Belt Nordeast, Lift Bridge Farm Girl and Brooklyn Brown Ale, to name a few.
“We took pains to create an atmosphere that’s both comfortable and has a little more luxury than the average bar,” said Parry. “From the River Rock on the walls to the home theater and rich black booths, you can tell the design was intended to create a warm, inviting experience.”
So far, the team has hired 48 employees to work at Alexander’s and Pub 31, as well as the event and catering business. Joe Amy, known for his track record of success at Fireside Lounge in Dennison, is president of Alexander’s Supper Club and Pub 31.
Parry predicts that the top quality 1881 steaks from Certified Hereford Beef are going to be a “must-have” entree at Alexander’s. Pub 31 will feature the beef as well. Parry says he’s had early tastings at the Pub that have given raves to a unique sandwich, the Killer Sub.
“We hope that Alexander’s and Pub 31 will become community gathering places and also destinations for people who want a unique dining experience,” Parry said. “With Alexander’s, we think we have something unique to offer that will make it well worth the drive.”
The restaurant introduced a Founders’ Club membership in 2013 to encourage patrons to try the restaurant early. For paying in advance, they get credits in food and beverages that are valued at significantly more than their prepayment. The Founders’ Club program, initially intended to end on June 4, has been extended to allow wider participation. Memberships start at $500.00 and specific terms are available on request. The club program will likely stay open until Alexander’s is fully open to the public.
