LifeCenter Plus Hosts First Annual Summer Blast July 12
Hudson, OH (PRWEB) June 07, 2014 -- LifeCenter Plus will host the first annual Summer Blast event with field day games and challenges, a lunch and learn, pool party, live entertainment, dinner, drinks and lots of opportunity for fun on Saturday, July 12, from 10:30 am to 11 pm.
“Members, their guests, employees from local corporations and individuals from the surrounding communities are invited to our first annual Summer Blast event,” said Jerry Lynch, co-owner of LifeCenter Plus. “This event will involve everyone in a fun competition including members, their guests, and employees of local corporations. The event will allow them to see what LifeCenter has to offer, and offer a way for the public who haven't been to LifeCenter to come in, tour the facility, meet our staff, and experience the friendly culture here at LifeCenter Plus.”
In the morning various fun field day activities are planned for those 18 years of age and older and at all skill levels of competition. Some of the field day events include an obstacle course/relay, volleyball games, tug-o-war, adult pong, corn hole, water balloon toss, dizzy bat and gumball relay. “You don't have to be an elite athlete to participate and have fun,” said Lynch. “We will have something for everyone.”
Following the field day events, lunch will be provided by Dontatos. Assessments will be provided by Central Wellness that include blood pressure, percent body fat, and BMI. LifeCenter staff will be available to informally answer questions about health and wellness. At 2 – 6 pm pool passes will be provided so participants can relax at the pool, lay out on the sun deck, and experience the fun at LifeCenter Plus.
In the evening, participants will enjoy live entertainment, dinner and drinks at the pool from 7 to 11 pm. Everyone is invited to Summer Blast. You may come as an individual, a couple or sign up as team with up to six members. Teams are forming now. Call 330-655-2377 extension 113 to register. There will be a special recognition for those who register early. Proceeds will benefit the Akron/Canton Food Bank.
