National Association of Professional Women Announces Petrina Holoszyc, Founder and Chief Operating Officer at NYFoodBox, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ms. Holoszyc is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. Petrina Holoszyc is the Founder of NYFoodBox, a food delivery service that supplies everything a person needs to make delicious, local seasonal meals at home-all under 30 minutes. “Our business is receiving four-star reviews,” says Ms. Holoszyc, who recently hired additional employees for her expanding business and plans to outsource its bike deliveries to a local nonprofit organization. At the end of elementary school, Ms. Holoszyc and her family left New York City and moved to Norway. In 2003 she moved to Australia and received her undergraduate degree in International Relations and History at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. She received her Master's degree in International Relations at Monash University in Melbourne. During the time spent in numerous countries, Ms. Holoszyc was influenced by her international experience especially, the food. She moved back to the US in 2009 and back to New York in 2010 where she is now the successful owner of NYFoodBox.
