Animal Trustees of Austin Launches Power of the Paw Campaign With Honorary Chair Daniel Esquivel From Project Runway Season 11 to Raise Funds for Medical Equipment
Austin, TX (PRWEB) June 09, 2014 -- Animal Trustees of Austin is launching Power of the Paw on June 21st, 2014, a fundraising initiative to create a sustainable fund for this non-profit veterinary clinic for much-needed medical equipment and expanded services. Miranda Darr and Jo Ann Taylor are the volunteer event co-chairs, and the evening with feature fashion, fun, and “pet-selfies” to benefit the Austin-based community clinic.
Honorary Chairman and Project Runway star Daniel Esquivel will showcase four models wearing the latest styles from his Daniel Esquivel Collection. Esquivel shares his excitement for the fundraiser: “My dogs are the loves in my life --- Like my fashions! For me to share my talents with Animal Trustees to help generate funds touches my heart. Being part of building a sustainable fund to provide access to affordable veterinary care for all is an amazing opportunity! I hope you all will join me!”
The event’s focus on fashion continues with a special guest appearance by, bensen, a celebrated designer and photographer from the Metropolitan Detroit area. benson, is one of the Co-Owners of TexStyles Designer Fabric Showroom and one of the three owners and CEO of Blue Moon Apparel Manufacturing Services, both in Austin, TX. benson also has an office in The Cooper Design Center in the heart of L.A’s fashion District. Putting the finishing touches on the evening, Tito’s Vodka provides the event’s signature cocktail: Vodka Cat Tails!
