NAPCP European Commercial Card and Payment Conference to Feature Invaluable Educational and Networking Opportunities
Minnetonka, MN (PRWEB UK) 10 June 2014 -- The premier event for Commercial Card and payment professionals in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe is just around the corner.
The 2014 NAPCP European Commercial Card and Payment Conference is coming to the Bloomsbury Hotel in the heart of London on 24 June and registrations are still being accepted. The conference will be preceded on 23 June by the Commercial Card Basics pre-conference workshop and the NAPCP European Advisory Meeting, where industry leaders will share their opinions and perspective on the educational needs of corporate and public sector entities in the European Commercial Card and payment community.
“The 2014 NAPCP European Commercial Card and Payment Conference will be essential for individuals who—either directly or indirectly—have a major influence over their organizations’ payment strategy and decision-making processes,” says Laura Flandrick, NAPCP managing director. Those who will benefit from the planned agenda include CFO-level, treasury, accounting, procurement and accounts payable professionals.
Conference Lead Sponsor Visa Europe will kick things off with the opening General Session, “Looking to the Horizon: Aligning Commercial Cards with Procure-to-Pay Technologies.” This session will consider the prospects for leveraging the ongoing and evolving opportunity that Commercial Card adoption presents.
Following this session, an end-user panel discussion will feature insight and expertise from panelists Niles D. Daniels, purchase-to-pay operations manager at BP PLC, and Jeanne Ruth, global programme manager at Honeywell International. NAPCP Managing Director Diane McGuire will moderate.
Later in the day, industry leaders will present a number of educational breakout sessions. Gareth Lodge, senior analyst at Celent, will explore the world of real-time payments, looking at their rise in popularity and how they could impact everyone from card issuers to corporate users.
Vincent Eavis, senior partner at PayTech, will discuss the psychology of compliance. His session will focus on potential approaches and strategies to increase corporate policy compliance in expense management.
Additional speakers slated to present include Grant Lewis and Martin Stevens, procurement managers at Reed Elsevier, and Chris Colson, director of innovation at TSYS.
Beyond all the great sessions, the conference will feature roundtable discussions, product and technology demonstrations, and an interactive exhibit hall that will showcase products, technology and services that support payments optimisation and efficiencies worldwide.
This is your chance to meet with industry leaders face-to-face and move your card programme—and career—forward.
