Aderant, the world’s largest independent legal software company, announced today the latest release of its Aderant Total Office (formerly Client Profiles) case and financial management system—version 9.1 SP5 (service pack 5). This release features integrations with Microsoft Outlook Tasks and the legal docketing software Aderant CompuLaw court rules database, plus many other enhancements.

The expansion of the Total Office integration with Microsoft Outlook Tasks enables users to create and manage to-do items using the program most comfortable to them. The bi-directional synchronization with Outlook streamlines user workflows, in turn fostering improved organization and efficiency for firm employees. This new Tasks integration feature also served as a catalyst for integration with the Aderant CompuLaw docketing software database, also utilized by Deadlines.com, which ensures that critical dates involving complex court rules are calculated easily and accurately to avoid the primary basis of legal malpractice claims. Users now have the option to select how the court deadline system integrates with Total Office by using either tasks or calendar appointments in Outlook.
