Michael R. McGinnis joins Greenberg Traurig’s Public Finance and Corporate & Securities Practices in Denver
DENVER (PRWEB) June 06, 2014 -- The international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP has brought Michael R. McGinnis on as a shareholder where he will focus his practice in Public Finance. McGinnis will advise large governmental entities, including airports, public utilities, educational institutions, water authorities, municipalities, cities and metropolitan districts on finance issues. McGinnis also serves as counsel to airport-related businesses; including rental car companies regarding airport consolidated facilities financings as well as concession and lease agreements. In these transactions, he regularly counsels clients in the capacity of bond, disclosure, underwriter’s or special counsel.
McGinnis will also cross-over into the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice providing guidance on complex commercial transactions including developing legal structures and strategies for companies and other service orientated entities.

He also participates in the American Association of Airport Executives and Airports Council International–North America organizations.
He earned his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1982 and a B.A., with distinction, also from the University of Iowa in 1979.
